SERVING TOOTIE PIE, INSTRUCTIONS AND TIPS |
| Just received your Tootie Pie and want to know the best way to serve it? All Tootie Pies are fully-baked and frozen to capture maximum freshness. Upon arrival, you can either store in the freezer or refrigerator until you are ready to serve. To thaw overnight, place in your refrigerator with plastic wrap on the pie. For the quickest thawing process, remove plastic wrap and place on counter the day of. These aren’t your average size pie. Each pie is served in an 11” tin, and depending on the appetites, can serve 8, 10, 12 or 16 people. |
| Heating Instructions |
| The only thing better than a Tootie Pie is a Warm Tootie Pie. All Tootie Pies are fully baked upon arrival. You only need to reheat. |
| Conventional Oven (The Best Method for all fruit pies): |
| Heat oven to 200-225 degrees, and place pie on baking sheet and place in oven for: |
| Apple: 1.5 – 2 hours or until warm |
| Other Fruit Pies: 1 hour or until warm |
| Remove from oven and serve some hot Tootie Pie for all to enjoy |
| Microwave Oven (suitable for all pies): |
| Slice and remove a piece from pie pan. Place on microwave safe plate. |
| Heat on high for up to 1 minute or until it reaches your desired temperature. Since all microwaves heat differently, this is only a guideline. Be careful as the fruit filling could have hot-spots. |
| Proper Storage |
| Because Tootie’s apple pies are so big, you may have leftovers. If that happens, here are some tips on making sure any leftover pie is as good tomorrow as it was today... |

| Call someone you don’t like and make a friend! |
| If you actually have any left after doing the above, we suggest you wrap the pie and put it in the refrigerator for storage up to a week. |
